Important Additional Information:
For some models you may need to make some coding changes for navigation to display on the virtual cockpit screen. These simple changes can be made with VCDS or OBD11.
2015 TT Vehicles only: TT vehicles produced in 2015 can only access CarPlay/Android Auto by holding down the voice command button for a few seconds. There is no capability for an update to the virtual cockpit to show this as a selectable menu option.
2016 TT vehicles onwards: It may be required that the virtual cockpit requires updating to show the Audi Smartphone Interface when connected to CarPlay or Android Auto. If when connected you do not have the ability to switch between the normal VC screens and CarPlay/Android Auto then the update may be required.

What is VIN? Vehicle Identification Number is the car identification number. It is the chassis number of the car.
The VIN is located on the VIN plate located just below the windshield. The VIN can also be found on the label on the driver's side door frame and on documents related to the vehicle's registration, title, and insurance.
Is the car warranty lost when installing Carplay/Android adapters?

About the versions of the maps.
Please note that the navigation version does not match the maps version. For example. SD card Connect. The version is released in 2022, but the cartographic data corresponds to the first quarter of 2020. Making maps takes time, keep this in mind.
