FSC Code

The navigation map update requires an FSC code that must be written to the iDrive system to unlock the new map. Without code, you cannot start an update.

Two types of FSC codes.

FSC Lifetime: once used in the vehicle, the car will remember it and the future map update will no longer require the FSC code.

FSC Single: Can only be used once. Any future map update will require the purchase of a new code.
