To view the version: Go to “Navigation” → Choose “Map” → Press Options button → Select "Navigation Settings" → Scroll down to "Position and Version" → Select "Version Information".
It is necessary to attach the VIN (chassis number) when making the purchase.
- Activation of Apple CarPlay for the BMW/MINI EntryNav2 WAY navigation system.
- This activation includes full screen display (if supported by the current firmware version).
- This CarPlay activation requires a Windows laptop, an OBD-ENET cable and the Feature Installer program that will be provided by us.
- CarPlay activation is also possible for units without BMW navigation function.
- CarPlay activation requires: Firmware version “F” at least and EntryNav2 head unit with WIFI port.
– Full screen CarPlay display requires at least firmware version “O”.

En estos casos, CarPlay suele funcionar bien sin antena. Si resulta que la conexión es inestable o ni siquiera funciona en absoluto, tendrás que enchufar posteriormente la antena WIFI.

- CarPlay activation requires at least firmware version “F”. Firmware versions "F" to "N" support CarPlay in the original “split screen” view.
- Full screen display requires at least firmware version “O”. A firmware version earlier than “F” is not compatible with the CarPlay software. To do this, a firmware update must first be performed.
- The EntryNav2 main unit is supplied with and without WIFI port. Unfortunately CarPlay is not possible with the variant without WIFI port.
- It is also possible to physically check if the WIFI port is present. The WIFI port is located on the back of the main unit. If the WIFI port is present but not in use, it is advisable to immediately connect a WIFI antenna.
- The WIFI antenna is necessary for a stable connection between the iPhone and the system. In some cases, the WIFI antenna is missing while the WIFI port is present. In these cases, CarPlay usually works well without an antenna. If it turns out that the connection is unstable or does not even work at all, you will have to plug in the WIFI antenna later.
