Systemet kan overføre udvalgt indhold fra en smartphone direkte til Mazda Connect via apperne Apple CarPlay og Android Auto.
Smartphonen tilsluttes derefter til den nye hub med et USB-kabel eller via trådløst.
Softwaren kan betjenes intuitivt gennem multikommando eller stemmestyring. For eksempel er det muligt at streame musik gennem Spotify, bruge beskeder som WhatsApp eller sociale medier som Facebook og navigere gennem Google Maps eller Apple Maps.
